The Art of
Meridith McNeal
Meridith McNeal's work has explored territory related to social history, women’s issues and personal reminiscence, often linking her work to a physical space, a specific geographic location, and/or historical fictions or realities. She brings a broad range of concerns, materials, and methods to her work, from elaborate installations to beautifully realized pen and ink and watercolors. Her work is densely layered combining stunning visual effect and narrative force. Her latest series of large-scale paintings entitled Inside/Outside are highlighted in this site.
